Are your source code printouts hard to read? Would they be easier to understand if the keywords were printed in bold and the comments in italics? If so, BasPrint is for you!
What is BasPrint?
BasPrint is a DOS utility that prints Basic source code in a very easy-to-read format.
What Printers Are Supported?
BasPrint ships with support for HP-compatible laser printers and Epson-compatible dot matrix printers. However, you can add support for any printer simply by adding its control codes to the BASPRINT.INI file.
Print Source from Any Basic!
Although BasPrint ships with the keywords for PowerBASIC/DOS, you can modify the list for any language. BasPrint fully supports the syntax of Visual Basic, QuickBASIC, and PB/DLL. You can even add to the keyword list the names of the functions in your "personal toolchest," and they will be treated just like the keywords inherent in the language!
In addition to changing the printer control codes and keyword lists, you can easily change the "tab to spaces" conversion rate. Thus, it does not matter if you perfer to set your editor's tab settings to 8 spaces, 5 spaces, or only 2 spaces, BasPrint will accomodate you.
Source Code Included
If BasPrint does not work exactly the way you like, you can customize it to suit your work style, since we include the complete, well-commented source code.
